The 48-bed hospital and its programs provide care and support to the residents of Davis, Dixon, Winters, Woodland, West Sacramento, Vacaville and rural communities throughout Yolo and Eastern Solano counties.

The 94,000-square-foot hospital opened in 1994 and sits on a 20-acre medical campus. Designed with the future in mind, Sutter Davis Hospital offers the technical flexibility necessary to be on at the leading edge of health care.

With more than 1,100 babies born each year at Sutter Davis Hospital, the physicians, nurses and support staff understand what it takes to provide the very best experience for infants, new mothers and their families. Through all services, Sutter Davis Hospital is committed to providing individualized, safe and competent care in assisting parents and newborns with the birthing experience.

Though the vast majority of pregnancies and births are routine, families have the reassurance of being part of the Sutter Health system that provides advanced care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies and newborns in distress. Sutter Women's and Children's services include special services for expectant mothers and the region's leading neonatal intensive care unit .
